Dear reader,

After being in digital advertising for 7 years, both on the agency side and in-house at one of the largest e-commerce stores in Sweden – I got tired.

Tired of how the ad platforms we trust with our ever growing ad budgets shamelessly push us into lowering our margins to maintain visibility and growth.

As advertisers we are fundamentally at odds with the motivations of the ad platform giants. Our business goals simply don't align with theirs.

To the ad platforms, the goal is to make us spend as much as possible. And a very effective method is letting us set a target ROAS and leave the rest to them.

The algorithms decide which products to push, when to push them, and to whom. All without knowing our fundamentals like margins and costs.

That's why I built Profitscaler.

To let stores take back control and scale their profits instead of ad platform vanity metrics.

The mechanism as simple as it is vital. When your customers place an order, Profitscaler calculates the true profit by removing costs of goods, VAT, logistics and more.
